And they do mean business.

Let’s talk about business aviation.

It’s hard to cater to the needs of the general flying population. (You know, the population that includes vacationers in Majorca and backpackers across western Europe.) When the clients that need to be serviced have business on their minds, the sense of urgency goes several notches higher.

Individuals and organizations on official business do not want to waste their time. These clients face serious complications if their travel arrangements are anything less than prompt and efficient. In the business aviation industry, there is strong demand for workers who can provide great customer experience.

Does this sound like a job you can pull off? If you’re interested in earning money by doing it, we have just the platform for you.

Avinode, one of the biggest names in business aviation, is looking to hire a customer support representative. In this work-from-home post, you can make a good living by utilizing your interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

More on Avinode

Talk about smart solutions: The concept for Avinode was essentially created in a master’s thesis.

Back in 2001, three Swedish graduate students collaborated on a framework that had the potential to disrupt the business aviation industry. In the minds of Niklas Berg, Niclas Wennerholm, and Per Marthinsson, the industry could be revolutionized if it capitalized on the power of—what else?—the internet.

As it turned out, this wasn’t another one of those published theses that ended up collecting dust in some dark library corner. The Avinode Marketplace emerged on the World Wide Web in 2002, and it was a highly promising platform for flight providers and business clients alike.

As the 2000s unfolded, Avinode began to rise in prominence. In 2003, the company was invited to its first-ever trade show (the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland). Five years later, it was receiving a significant amount of press coverage and recognition for its impressive growth.

Two decades after its launch, Avinode continues to be on an upward trajectory. Thanks to technological innovations (such as payment platforms and customer APIs), the company has created an array of solutions that help flight providers run their day-to-day operations smoothly.

In turn, the popularity of these flight providers has soared among users of business aviation services. These clients really don’t want to waste their time, and thanks to Avinode, their needs (which include browsing airlines, comparing prices, and booking flights) are promptly met.

Are you up to the challenge of addressing these clients’ needs?
