Care to join a multi-award-winning company?

Back in the day, brick-and-mortar premises were crucial to the success of companies in just about every industry. Having a physical facility meant that your business had, at the very least, a solid base of operations where staff could converge and essential files could be stored.

That was then. What about now? Our way of thinking has changed, and we have companies like Liveops to thank for it.

Since the dawn of the 21st century, this contact center company has pioneered a more sophisticated way of establishing…well, contact. Transcending the confines of traditional offices, Liveops has built a strong virtual network that stretches across different fields.

Liveops’ next stop? It may very well be your home. We have it on good authority that this company is hiring.

More on Liveops

This success story began in a Fort Lauderdale garage. (Yep, it’s one of those stories.)

Evidently, Liveops tried the traditional brick-and-mortar approach first. However, as its client base grew, it became clear that physical facilities were holding the company back. The top brass at Liveops decided to create a virtual network to outsource customer service to agents all over the U.S.

Interestingly, one of the first Liveops clients to benefit from this approach was—and we’re not making this up—an organization of psychics. Years later, Liveops would find humor in this situation. Here’s an excerpt from its website’s Our History section: “Interesting how two groups of people focused on the future came together. Coincidence? We don’t think so…”

Liveops soon harnessed its virtual workforce to provide quality services to a wide range of clients. These included companies in the retail, insurance, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as government agencies—including those that deal with your taxes!

For the outstanding work that Liveops has done in its niche, it has received multiple industry accolades. In 2020 and 2021, Liveops made it to the Flexjobs list of Top 100 Remote Work Companies to Watch, and in 2022, it ranked among the Top 10. Liveops has been recognized by Inc. as one of America’s 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies. In addition, it was a 2022 recipient of the Excellence in Customer Service Award, a distinction given by the Business Intelligence Group.

From a home garage to wide industry recognition—that’s not bad, not bad at all. To ensure that it maintains its success, Liveops continues to look for dedicated, skilled individuals who can work from home. That could be you.

What can you expect from this job?

To qualify as a Liveops work-from-home agent, you need to be a resident of one of these states: AK, AL, AZ, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, or WY.

You also have to meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have at least a year of phone-based customer service experience
  • Possess effective communication, customer service, and computer skills
  • Have a secure workspace at home
  • Have a computer set and internet connectivity that meet the specifications listed here

Liveops agents are hired as independent contractors. This means that you’ll be responsible for handling your tax obligations.

There are two more things you need to know. First, Liveops uses two-factor authentication to beef up security. This requires that you use an unmodified Android or Apple phone with certain specifications.

Second, you need to submit to a background check that will cost you $24.99. Let’s put it this way: Liveops expects all applicants to adhere to its high standards of security, so this background check is something you can’t dispense with.
