Customer service is a booming industry, and it’s all thanks to those well-oiled machines called contact centers.

Unhindered by the limitations of space—or, one could argue, even time—contact centers are a flourishing 24/7 business. Healthcare institutions, government agencies, and commercial enterprises are just some of the entities creating a huge demand for contact center solutions.

This means an abundance of job opportunities, particularly in the work-from-home category. Are you looking for your next big break as a remote worker? If so, we’ve found just the company for you!

Pearl Interactive Network, a social enterprise specializing in contact center services, needs a customer support representative who’s cool with work-from-home arrangements. If you’re ready to shine in a customer service role, you have to check out this company!

More on Pearl Interactive Network

Pearl was founded by Merry Korn, a businesswoman who holds a master’s degree in social work. Though her two fields of specialization don’t always mesh well, the launch of Pearl allowed Korn to marry her two passions.

While Pearl is most definitely a for-profit business, it lives and breathes strong social advocacy. In a video posted on the company’s About Us page, Korn puts this in plain terms: “Our mission is to employ people with barriers to work.” She goes on to list examples of groups that her company is trying to level the playing field for: “Native Americans, disabled vets, veterans, military spouses, people with disabilities.”

Guided by this vision, Korn and her team expanded the scope of the company so that more professionals could benefit from its advocacy. Pearl currently operates in 31 states and has more than 1,100 employees. It has certainly earned the right to call itself both global and local: while Pearl has become an internationally trusted BPO, it has also provided plenty of opportunities to rural and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Zones to thrive.

For the good work it has done over the years, Pearl has received a number of accolades from media outlets. These include the Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Ohio’s The Metropreneur in 2015, as well as the Fast 50 Award from Columbus Business First in 2016.

Pearl continues to make a difference in the lives of clients and employees. Now, you can make a valuable contribution to these efforts by joining the company as a customer support representative.
