When some people hear “genetic testing,” they tend to think about some 1990s reality show where a host boisterously declares, “You are not the father!”

Genetic testing is way more useful than that.

The advantages of genetic procedures are at the heart of biotech company Invitae. Using cutting-edge technology, it efficiently processes genetic information so that both healthcare providers and patients can make well-informed decisions about treatment options.

These technological innovations, however, would all be for naught if Invitae didn’t have a team of skilled individuals dedicated to their jobs. If you happen to be looking for an employment opportunity within the medtech industry, you’re in luck—we’ve found one that could suit you fine!

Invitae is looking to hire a medical records phone specialist. In this remote position, you’ll get paid to make simple yet significant contributions to the medical industry. Doesn’t that sound like a job worth checking out?

More on Invitae

Since 2010, Invitae has distinguished itself through its comprehensive use of genetic technology and data.

What exactly does the company offer its client base? Its flagship solutions include tests that are particularly helpful in the following fields:

  • Cardiology
  • Dermatology
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology
  • Oncology
  • Ophthalmology

  • Reproductive health

In these medical fields—and many more, mind you—the testing services provided by Invitae are incredibly useful. From diagnosis to prognosis and all the way to specific forms of patient care, healthcare providers can make great use of the data yielded by Invitae. As for patients, they can gain great insights about themselves and their families from the genetic information.

Five years after Invitae was established, it became a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. Between 2016 and 2021, it acquired more than a dozen companies, broadening its scope and expanding its catalog of offerings.

As a result, Invitae was able to generate total revenue of $460.4 million in 2021, following that with $516.3 million in 2022. (For those of you keeping score, it’s a 12.1% increase.)
