Desperate times call for desperate measures. This is when many begin to consider shadier means of obtaining what they need. They turn to underground sources to buy all types of body parts, from corneas to kidneys. Unfortunately, traffickers are all too happy to exploit desperation. Body parts harvested from humans, living or dead, are bought and sold at outrageous prices.

Due to traffickers taking advantage of the trade, most body parts are illegal to sell, though some are legal to donate, such as blood and bone marrow.
