Currently, Cotiviti is looking for experienced transcribers to join its transcriber team full time.

What does the job entail?

As a transcriber working for Cotiviti, you will transcribe segments of health plan member responses to interactive voice response calls. This includes anything from member satisfaction surveys and prescription drug names to health conditions and member centricity.

Keep in mind that although full-time, this position is temporary. However, if you prove you have the skills, chances are you will be rehired for similar projects in the future. 

Your duties explained

As an experienced transcriber, you probably have a general idea of your duties and responsibilities. Cotiviti is looking to hire someone who will perform the following duties on a daily basis: 

  • Complete all tasks as assigned and in a timely manner.
  • Carry out all duties as described in the annual performance plan.
  • Complete all strategic transcription as requested.
  • Report member DNC requests to the transcription manager.
  • Forward member reports of adverse events to the PM/SC.
  • Report negative or life-threatening comments to the appropriate PM/SC.
  • Transcribe recorded audio conversations from phone calls using transcription tools that comply with HIPAA and company standards.

The starting pay for a Cotiviti transcriber is $15.20 to $18.60 per hour, depending on experience, skills, education, and certification.

Want to be a part of the Cotiviti transcribers team? Here is what you need to qualify: 

  • Ability to type fast and accurately (a minimum of 50 wpm)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure with time constraints
  • Knowledge of Spanish a plus
  • Healthcare experience a plus

Apart from those, the applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
