The difference between the two is pretty straightforward. General transcription requires non-legal related transcription and pays $30 per audio hour. As part of the legal team, you will get to transcribe court proceedings and then review your work to achieve 97% accuracy. This type of transcription pays $1.00 per page.
If you are a legal expert, you can work your way up to the legal proofing team. This position includes proofing all completed transcriptions, confirming the style guides and templates have been followed, and ensuring they are 100% accurate and ready for the clients. You will get paid $0.75 per page.
